When TubeSpanner, a popular content creation site, contacted us for assistance in developing a chatbot that could offer content ideas to users, we at Agile451 were thrilled. We saw the possibility of employing artificial intelligence to power the chatbot right away and suggested using GPT (Generative Pre-trained Transformer) to generate content ideas for users. The initial stage in the process was to create a user-friendly and intuitive chatbot. We named the chatbot "Kim" and designed it for users to ask a series of questions to better understand their content creation needs. We also made the chatbot customisable so that users could modify its recommendations to their individual needs.
Following that, we integrated GPT into Kim. We trained the model on a large dataset of text relating to areas of interest to TubeSpanner users, such as gaming, tutorials, fashion, and beauty. Unfortunately, we discovered that GPT's early results were not always relevant or useful to users' demands.
To solve this, we fine-tuned the GPT model using a technique known as "hold and modify." We kept certain model parameters constant while changing others to increase the model's accuracy and relevance to the concepts proposed. We were able to tweak the model to better suit the demands of TubeSpanner users and deliver more appropriate content suggestions using this technique.
Once Kim was perfected, we distributed it to a small sample of users for testing. The response has been overwhelmingly positive. People appreciated Kim's suggestions and thought it was a useful tool for creating article ideas. The chatbot was especially useful for users who were new to content creation or were having difficulty coming up with new ideas.
As Kim was rolled out to more users, TubeSpanner began to see an increase in user engagement. Users spent more time on the site, created more material, and shared their work with others. Kim had become an essential component of the TubeSpanner experience, assisting users in remaining engaged and interested in the site.
